4. What would you do if a man wants to date you but didn't have the same educational credentials you have? ⁣

My oh my you all do NOT want to miss these answers! Damita, Erin, Jamila, Marla, & Melisha thank you all for lending your voices to these great topics. Ladies, get your drink of choice and listen in on this courageous conversation!⁣

In Between Knowing Better & Doing Better

In Between Knowing Better & Doing Better

January 27, 2020

Are you tired of people making excuses for their sh*tty behavior? Do you know someone who needs to work on their emotional well-being but refuses to invest in themselves? In this candid and courageous conversation I shared: ⁣

  • ⁣That there's a dangerous movement developing emotional martyrs⁣
  • How not having a great upbringing isn't an excuse to mistreat, abuse, or use people⁣
  • How to set and follow through on your boundaries with someone who is overwhelming you with their problems⁣
  • Why we need to stop the excuses, "That's just the way times were back then" and "That's the best they can do"⁣
  • Why it's necessary to invest in our emotional well-being outside of social media⁣

⁣It's time to stop tap dancing around our needs so that we can have fulfilling relationships! Happy Listening⁣!

Jamahl Joyner: Hindsight is 2020

Jamahl Joyner: Hindsight is 2020

January 6, 2020

Happy New Year! There’s a saying, “Hindsight is 20/20”. Hindsight is defined as: perception of the nature of an event after it has happened. In this first episode of 2020, I shared how my hindsight is becoming my foresight. I’m allowing myself to let the past teach me something; hence, hindsight in the year of 2020. I have the ability to learn and grow from my mistakes and the power to course correct my life to get back on track to confidence, peace, and clarity! Jamahl, joined me in this fun, transparent, and encouraging episode to discuss:

  • 3 things that we learned in 2019 that we’re bringing into 2020
  • How letting go of people and mindsets that didn’t serve us brought more peace into our lives and marriage
  • How to have difficult and honest conversations in a committed relationship
  • How to keep the spice in your relationship (planning a Sexcation)

THROWBACK: When Should Divorce be an Option?

December 29, 2019

This is the last episode of 2019 ya'll! Thank you so much for rockin with me this year. I truly appreciate and adore all of you. In today's episode, I took it back to an earlier show this year when I answered the question, "When should divorce be an option?" I dived into the 3 A's in this episode although since the episode I've added another "A" for Abandonment. I explained why I added it in this episode. This will be a difficult yet enlightening talk to end the year off with. Love you all and take care of yourselves!
